As a Managing Director, Hani leads Cisco’s sales and strategy across the Middle East West Region. In this role he is responsible for overseeing Cisco’s business operations and driving its growth plan in a number of promising markets that include Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestine, Qatar and Syria.
Formulating Cisco’s strategic direction in the region’s growing ICT sector, Hani’s focus is on leveraging the company’s technology leadership to support emerging country innovation, prosperity and social inclusion. He works in close collaboration with government bodies, regulators, and public and private enterprises to develop a healthy technology and partner ecosystem.
By helping countries and customers drive the digitization of their industries, organizations and businesses, Hani and his team aim to shape a digital future for the region that opens up a world of unprecedented opportunities and which supports their ambitions to deliver sustainable economic growth and create employment opportunities.
Hani joined Cisco over 11 years ago and has a diverse 23-year background of both domestic and regional ICT sector experience coupled with cross-industry exposure. He has held various executive positions in emerging markets, where he was responsible for building strategic sales strategies whilst also serving as a key spokesperson to influence media and other stakeholders on the importance of technology.
Prior to joining Cisco, Hani held various senior management positions at Hewlett-Packard (HP), National Technology Company and LCC International.
